The Delta State Government on Sunday berated the immediate past governor of Edo State, Mr. Adams Oshiomhole, over his alleged comment that the All Progressives Congress would extend its coast in the South-South by installing an APC governor in Delta State.
Oshiomhole had during a mega rally of the APC held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, Edo State on Friday, said the ruling APC would extend its coast in the South-South by installing an APC governor in Delta State.
A statement signed by the Delta State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, flayed the choice and use of words by the former Edo State governor.
Ukah advised the former governor to c oncentrate on helping the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC government to save Nigeria from the hardship currently being faced by Nigerians across the country rather than saving his energy to pursue election he would never win in Delta.
