A student of the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Adebayo Jesutola (Tolajay), has humbly appealed to the management of the institution in resuming for a fresh academic session, having finished exam a month ago.
He wrote:
Good morning to our erudite vice chancellor,our amiable Dean of students and the webmaster.
Sir, today makes it a month when majority of the students finished our examinations,and up till now the Senate has not decide when we are to resume for the new session.
Sir, we the intending SIWES students have been given our placement letter before we left school in December last year,and we have been working tirelessly to get a place to observe the scheme.
But they all rejected our letters on the basis that the column for the duration of the program was left empty since we have not seen the calendar for the new session which will enable us know when first semester will end and when to resume for the program proper by second semester.
I will like to plead with the senate to please decide on the new calendar for the next session as soon as possible in order for us to be able to know the correct date to put on the letters.
