Sometimes it happens with swift that you only realise yourself after the deed is done..Let's help you with a sense of direction over this...
What is anger management by the way? In simple terms .. Anger management is how to curtail your habit of getting pissed easily .
Anger is a strong feeling that takes over one and make every other things around dead to you , except that which your first sense plans to accomplish ..Why management comes in .. It works on conditioning yourself on how to best achieve instant control.
This is channeled in five tips enlisted here in ; Be willing , pick a calm
( music , sleep, talk a walk , get out and grab a drink , smile , ) , grow yourself , hangout often and pray .
1: Be willing
I can have you listen to how I overcomed mine but I cannot force you to control it.. Anger is one virtue that can ruin a human .. Leads to hatred, chaos , destructiveness , loss of lives , unachieved dreams, and more..
So if you ask me , I can only walk you through how I was able to overcome mine. Come with me ;
First move is readiness , your mind must be willing to accept what you cannot change first (in a good way ) .. Most times when we cannot live the life our mates have already. It keeps one caged, some loose self-esteem, others become reticent and gradually turn introvert (No disrespect intended) ..
Anger is fiercer with quiet people that boisterous ones, arguable though..
I know for a fact that , If you gotta keep away from anger ,you gotta be willing first, that keeps you cautious of any prior occurrence.
2: Pick a calm
Everyone has his/ her sane mood , that we never get bored of having over and over , so many find solace in music .. According to our ardent followers . Briggs says 'I helped my anger level with music .. I always reached out to my cell phone and my music library does the magic '
Also Esosa says ' I was near shig my pap and setting the house ablaze in 2003 .When that voice told me to hush for one sec and have a listen to that best song of the moment .That saved the damage '
Yes... We all have a compilation of songs on our library that we put on replay on Laze days.. Right! Why not find a way to that mood whenever you get madly angered again because It works ..
Some also find peace in sleeping it out.. My females would love this because every other girl tells you sleep is her hobby.. Haha! So yeah.. Sleep does another magic to your mood, because you get to forget all that bothers you. So when next it
(Mr. anger) comes , just catch some air .. It does help ..
Now this is my favourite choice when you'll have to pick a calm because it takes you away from that sorrouding. That totally helps so well.. Go to a serene quiet place , or maybe a train station, park or wherever your legs can take you.. Remember, I said take a walk not drive PLEASE..I love you all but that's not a good time to use the wheels ..
Find yourself a place that will distract your already built emotions on violence or suicide ... Not every suicidal victim where hungry and fed up of being hard up.. Some where mis-informed and ignorant ..So just take a walk , you can come along with your music, game or movie ..A drama you might see on a crowded street can help you smile again .
This here works with the guys more though.. When you loosing your chill level, what are you still doing there ??? C'mon, get out there and grab a drink .. The magic done is that it helps you relax and also think .. Other than worrying over triviality.. Even if it happens that you are angered over a contract or money issue .. ??? Have a beer/drink , it will help you get a better approach afterwards, violence is not always the way .....
Lastly , on picking a calm, Smile. I'm sure you'd be like .. 'Really ' ??
Of course , yes .. I know that's like the opposite of the mood ..So truth is, If you can smile amidst your temperamental then you can overcome it .....
3: Grow yourself
Growing yourself means growing up against that which spoils your mood. At each given stage of ones life. You will agree with me that , at age 15, lesser things gets one angered unlike at age 30 , when you get angry over much more.. This goes to show that experiences builds you to switch around this and it takes more to press that button ..
If you can observe this you will notice that you have grown out of just getting angered over nothing of focus to bigger worries (Which is also workable) .
So plan a target of how to work around this and then be amazed on how far you can grow up against it..
4: Hangout often
One major factor of anger is idle - time.. When you bored , you get mad easily ..
Research have it that 80% humans with boisterous features tend to be happier than those of the opposite qualities ...So it only gets better when you get up, get out and grab a drink ...Quality time spent with loved ones , associates and friends tends to keep you there (happy) .
5: Pray
Okay let's not forget that often times forces come alive to destroy you ..But that's if you let it have charge over your life..
But then , Prayer is the master key! It can do so much, pray without season and condition .. If your temperamental management is not working .. Call on your creator ...
We believe with these few highlights, you can find a way to fight anger for good ...
