[ARTICLE]AKETI AND THE EGG POWDER INDUSTRY BY AISHA ABU

   

The Ondo state governor,Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu has in his bid to industrialise the state opened an egg powder industry in Emure-Owo to celebrate his one year anniversary in office among other activities.
The egg powder industry is a beautiful idea by the governor and his advisers.

It will industrialise the state and also raise the standard of living of the state residents.
The governor's egg powder industry would be a perfect idea if the governor already thought of and has been able to solve some burning issues like.........are there enough poultries in Ondo state to feed the industry??Are farmers encouraged to produce eggs beyond the populace's needs??

Are the farmers equipped to carry on and maintain this industry???Will it not be dormant like other industries opened by his predecessors?

As much as the idea of the egg powder industry is a beautiful idea,the question of how to get eggs is pertinent and must be addressed.The governor must have shown some kind of support to poultry farmers to inspire them to mass produce to enable them supply the excess of their production to the industry.

It won't be a bad idea if the governor revamps dormant industries in the state to create more facilities, employment and raising the standard of living of the state residents.

We are happy about the governor's many projects and activities to celebrate his one year anniversary in office but we also hope he has put these things in consideration.
We will keep our fingers crossed to know the governor's palms for the state as regards the egg powder industry.
